LED Synergies with Wind and Solar

LED   LED Architectural

There is a natural synergy between LEDs and Wind and Solar. LEDs consume up to 90% less power than conventional lighting. So the small demand that LEDs put on off the grid systems is a huge benefit. We are currently sourcing a number of different wind and solar applications. The challenge with wind and solar is that every setup scenario can be different. In some areas where only modest winds prevail, one setup is required and in areas where strong winds prevail, a completely different setup is required.

We start by doing an engineering analysis of the location and based on those results, we can then select the correct setup. Our initial engineering analysis fee is $5000.00 plus, when necessary travel costs.

  • Scary CFL Facts: State of Maine Safety Standard states that maximum safe soil levels for Mercury is 300 nanograms per cubic meter. Therefor, it would take 16,667 cubic meters of soil to safely contain all the Hg in 1 CFL @ 5 milligrams. There are approximately 5 billion light sockets in North America. Ultimately we will be disposing of billions & billions of "Mercury Bombs."
